At Gemba, we're at the forefront of technology, revolutionising training for global manufacturing companies with our immersive VR platform. We're seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) who can play a pivotal role in our journey of expansion by selling our top VR training experiences to senior executives.
Key Responsibilities 👇
- Prospect Identification: Research and identify potential leads in the manufacturing industry.
- Lead Generation: Proactively reach out to potential clients through various outbound communication channels, including cold calling.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with potential customers by understanding their needs and pains and aligning them with our offerings.
- Team Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to create a positive, motivated environment and instigate healthy competition, while sharing knowledge and tips.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an organised pipeline of prospects to ensure a steady flow of business opportunities and keep the CRM (HubSpot) updated and accurate.
- Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry trends to strategically position Gemba's cutting-edge VR solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: No experience necessary 💫, but prior sales or business development experience is a bonus. Hunger, drive and ambition are essential! 🚀
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence potential clients. 📞
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with VR technology, SaaS platforms and or CRM is advantageous. 👩💻
- Self-Motivation: A proactive go-getter attitude with a track record of making things happen. ⚡
- Innovative Thinking: Ability to think creatively to overcome challenges and develop unique strategies for client acquisition. 💭
- Education and Knowledge: Undergraduate degree highly desirable. 🎓 Knowledge of B2B sales, VR technology, manufacturing industry will give you a helping hand.

Salary: £27,000 per annum + commission
